MARGARET RIVER ‘OFF THE BEATEN TRACK TOUR’

Not everybody visits Margaret River for the Wine! Many are here for the unspoilt, raw beauty of the region – the ‘fresh air, the pristine environment, the unique flora & fauna, the wild ocean and the rugged beauty that is the ‘Jewel in the Crown’ of WA.
My new ‘Off the Beaten Track Tour’ has been especially created for the ‘Explorers & Discoverers’ in us all, delivering a unique snapshot of the area.
The South West of Western Australia is one of only ’34 Biodiversity Global Hotspots’ on the planet and the only one in Australia…over 80% of the plants down here in the South West are not found anywhere else on earth!
This is an ancient land steeped in Aboriginal and Wadandi tradition. Wild, yet stunningly beautiful and quite simply…unique! An area rich in history with amazing myths & tales…legends of shipwrecks, escapes, settler hardship and bravery. Towering forests, thundering surf, unique wildflowers, meandering rivers, limestone caves, vivid & exotic birdlife, boxing kangaroos, screeching parrots, reptiles breaching whales, massive sharks, stingrays, surfing dolphins and the mystery of a warm ocean current that influences the uniqueness of the region.
The unique ‘Cape to Cape Track’ is on our radar – short walking sections are included and a level of general fitness is required. Visit the friendly stingrays at Hamelin Bay, explore historic Lighthouses at Cape Leeuwin or Cape Naturaliste. View awesome coastal vistas and discover white sandy beaches.
From Cape Naturaliste in the North to Cape Leeuwin in the South, my super comfortable Land Rover Discovery 4WD loves to go ‘Adventuring’ - escaping the crowds, diving down hidden trails and off-road tracks, revealing places that only a local knows and unlocking those unique spots that others simply can’t access and don’t include on their Itineraries…it’s a fantastic escape and exciting way to ‘Get Lost in Margaret River!’
As the seasons change, so do my Itineraries. Tours are created around the weather and conditions, especially during winter months, which is oddly enough, often the best time of the year. Experience the real Margaret River – Jump aboard with me and lets get ‘Off the beaten track!’
